PetRx by Flex (“PetRx,” “we,” “our”) is committed to operating in accordance with applicable insurance, consumer protection, data privacy, and platform regulations. Our services are designed to be transparent, optional, and consumer-first.

PetRx is not an insurance company. We provide a free PetRx card and a technology platform that may present optional pet insurance offers from licensed insurance providers after a consumer completes registration.

How PetRx Works

PetRx operates on a registration-first, insurance-optional model:

1. Consumers visit the PetRx website primarily to register for a free PetRx card

2. During registration, consumers provide basic information about themselves and their pet

3. Upon successful registration, consumers receive confirmation of their PetRx card

4. After registration, consumers may be shown a customized pet insurance quote

5. Consumers may choose whether or not to engage with or purchase the insurance product

There is no requirement to purchase insurance in order to register for or use the PetRx card.

Insurance Role Disclosure

PetRx does not:

• Act as an insurance carrier

• Underwrite or assume insurance risk

• Make coverage or claims decisions

Any insurance product displayed is:

• Offered by a licensed insurance provider

• Governed by the provider’s policy terms, conditions, exclusions, and approvals

• Optional and separate from the PetRx card

PetRx acts solely as a technology and distribution platform that facilitates access to insurance offers provided by licensed entities.

Licensing & Regulatory Compliance

Where required by law:

• Insurance offers are made through appropriately licensed insurance carriers and/or producers

• State-specific disclosures are provided at the point of offer or purchase

Insurance availability, pricing, and coverage may vary by state and are subject to regulatory approval.

Consumer Transparency & Choice

Consumers are always provided with:

• Clear confirmation of PetRx card registration

• Transparent presentation of any insurance offer

• The ability to decline or ignore insurance offers entirely

PetRx does not auto-enroll consumers in insurance coverage.

Data Use & Personalization

Information collected during PetRx card registration is used to:

• Register and administer the free PetRx card

• Generate a personalized pet insurance quote, if applicable

• Improve user experience and platform performance

PetRx does not sell personal data.

Platform & Partner Oversight

PetRx works with:

• Licensed insurance carriers

• Licensed insurance producers or agencies

• Technology, infrastructure, and analytics partners

All partners are selected and managed to support regulatory compliance and consumer protection.

Marketing & Advertising Standards

All insurance-related content presented through PetRx:

• Is clearly identified as insurance

• Accurately reflects the terms approved by the insurance provider

• Is subject to compliance review when required

No Insurance or Legal Advice

PetRx does not provide insurance advice or recommendations. Insurance decisions are solely between the consumer and the insurance provider.
